Position Overview
The company is looking for a proactive Legal Executive / Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team in Hyderabad. The role is ideally suited for an enrolled Advocate with 2-5 years’ post-enrolment experience. Key responsibilities cover commercial contract drafting, litigation and regulatory work, and liaison with courts and government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements including leases, vendor contracts, franchise contracts, service contracts.
Managing litigation, notices and replies under Civil, Commercial, Labour and Criminal laws.
Assisting in statutory compliance, regulatory filings and corporate governance.
Coordinating with external counsels, consultants and government/ regulatory authorities.
Providing legal advisory and risk mitigation support to management.
Handling liaison work with police stations, courts and government departments.
Working closely with senior management in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications & Experience Required
LL.B. degree (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory).
Enrolled Advocate with AIBE qualification (mandatory).
Post-enrolment experience of 2-5 years, preferably in a corporate legal department of a retail/real-estate/contract-law environment or a reputed law firm.
Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
Familiarity with retail, real-estate, commercial contract laws is preferred.
Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Location
Hyderabad, Telangana — on-site position.
