Role Overview:

Peritum Partners is seeking a Corporate Litigation Associate to join its Chennai team. The selected candidate will handle contentious corporate matters before the NCLT, NCLAT, DRT, DRAT, and other forums, focusing on insolvency, recovery, and banking disputes. This role offers significant courtroom exposure and direct client interaction opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients and appear before courts and tribunals.

Draft pleadings, petitions, and applications under the IBC, SARFAESI, and Recovery of Debts Act.

Conduct legal research and prepare case notes, briefs, and client updates.

Coordinate with clients, senior counsels, and internal teams for efficient case management.

Attend client meetings and assist in developing litigation strategies.

Eligibility Criteria:

LL.B. from a recognized university (LL.M. is an advantage).

2–3 years of experience in litigation, preferably in banking and insolvency law.

Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proactive attitude and willingness to appear regularly in court.
