About the Opportunity
DAKSH is seeking a dynamic Research Associate to join its team and contribute to impactful research on India’s direct tax ecosystem. This role is ideal for early-career professionals passionate about public institutions, data analysis, and systemic reforms.
Key Responsibilities
The Research Associate will:
Conduct research on tax litigation, assessments, and dispute-resolution processes
Analyse pendency, disposal trends, and tax-related datasets
Support stakeholder interactions through workshops, roundtables, and consultations
Draft policy briefs, blogs, and case studies
Collaborate with senior experts, including veterans from the Income Tax Department
Who Should Apply
Ideal candidates include professionals with:
0–2 years of experience in tax, legal research, policy, or related fields
Strong research, analytical, and writing abilities
Interest in data analysis, institutional reform, and governance
Qualifications in LLB / LLM / CA (a Master’s in Public Policy is an added advantage)
