Position Details
Role: Legal Associate
Experience: 2–3 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE)
Location: Mumbai
Reporting To: Legal Manager / Partners
Compensation: As per industry standards
Role Overview
This position is suited for a proactive legal professional who enjoys collaborating with internal business teams. The role involves supporting contract lifecycle management, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment, while gradually building independent advisory capabilities in a business-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts including MSAs, NDAs, SLAs, vendor and client agreements, consultancy and employment contracts, and MoUs
Identifying and assessing contractual risks related to indemnities, limitation of liability, termination clauses, and dispute resolution mechanisms
Maintaining contract trackers and supporting end-to-end agreement lifecycle management
Drafting and reviewing media, advertising, influencer, endorsement, media buying, and agency–client agreements
Supporting legal review of digital advertising, influencer marketing campaigns, brand collaborations, and sponsorship arrangements
Reviewing advertising creatives for compliance with ASCI Guidelines, Consumer Protection Act, IT Act, data protection norms, and platform-specific policies
Drafting and reviewing basic real estate documents such as Leave & License Agreements, Lease Deeds, MoUs, and Indemnity Bonds
Supporting title due diligence, document verification, stamping, registration, and execution coordination
Assisting with legal notices, responses, and coordination with external counsel
Supporting corporate governance, statutory compliances, and legal record management
Acting as a legal support partner to internal teams by providing practical and commercially viable legal advice
Qualifications & Skills
LL.B. degree (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory)
2–3 years PQE in corporate-commercial law
Prior exposure to media, advertising, digital contracts, or real estate documentation preferred
Strong drafting, research, and contract review skills
Detail-oriented approach with a business-first mindset
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced work environment
