About the Job:
Shams Legal LLP is inviting applications for the position of Associate / Junior Associate to join its litigation practice at its Nizamuddin East office in New Delhi. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated law graduate to work on challenging matters in the areas of economic offences, criminal law, and commercial litigation. The successful candidate will assist and appear in matters before courts and tribunals while developing strong research and drafting skills under the guidance of experienced practitioners.

Eligibility:

• LL.B. graduate from a recognized university.
• Must be enrolled with the Bar Council.
• Strong legal research and drafting skills.
• Ability to assist seniors and independently appear in matters before courts and tribunals.
• Prior experience in litigation is preferred but not mandatory.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assisting seniors in preparing for cases involving PMLA, FEMA, economic offences, white-collar crimes, and commercial litigation.
• Conducting in-depth legal research on complex issues across criminal, commercial, and constitutional law.
• Drafting pleadings, applications, petitions, and briefs for matters before various courts, tribunals, and enforcement agencies.
• Appearing in matters before courts and tribunals as required.
• Managing case files, organizing documentation, and maintaining court schedules.

Duration:
Full-time, permanent position.
