About the Job:
MV Kini Law Firm is looking for an ambitious and skilled Associate Lawyer with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) specializing in DRT and DRAT matters to join their litigation team. The role involves drafting pleadings, regular court appearances, developing legal strategies for creditor rights enforcement, conducting legal research, and direct client management. This is a Delhi-based role offering direct exposure to complex, high-value recovery matters.

Eligibility:

• 2 to 3 years of demonstrable PQE primarily focused on DRT and DRAT litigation.
• LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
• Must be enrolled with a State Bar Council and possess a valid Sanad.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with the RDDB Act and SARFAESI Act.
• Exceptional advocacy, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a large volume of cases under strict deadlines.
• Strong professional integrity and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Pleadings and Documentation: Drafting, reviewing, and filing various applications, written statements, affidavits, counter-affidavits, appeal memos, and other pleadings before the DRT and DRAT.
• Court Appearances: Regularly appearing, arguing, and conducting matters before various benches of the DRT and DRAT across jurisdictions.
• Strategy and Advisory: Developing legal strategies for securing and enforcing creditors’ rights, including advising clients (primarily banks and financial institutions) on recovery under the SARFAESI Act, 2002, and the Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act, 1993.
• Legal Research: Conducting thorough research on case laws, amendments, and statutory provisions relevant to debt recovery, insolvency, and banking laws.
• Client Management: Directly liaising with client legal and recovery teams to receive instructions, provide updates, and offer sound legal opinions.

Duration:
Full-time, permanent position.
