Internship Role: Legal Intern

Eligibility: Law students in 3rd to 5th year (LL.B. / BA-LLB)

Stipend: ₹ 5,000 per month

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Mode: On-site at Securitas India office (unless otherwise specified)

Engagement: Short-term initial engagement; may be extended based on performance and mutual interest

Key Responsibilities

As a Legal Intern with Securitas India, you may be asked to:

Draft, review and vet contracts and agreements relevant to Securitas’ services or vendor-/client-engagements

Handle corporate and regulatory compliance tasks — ensuring internal practices comply with applicable laws and regulations

Assist with legal/compliance documentation and maintenance of records related to corporate operations

Get exposure to real-time business legal operations, which may include vendor contracts, service agreements, backgrounds checks compliance, or internal policies

Support the legal team with ad-hoc tasks as required

Candidate Profile & What We Expect

Ideal candidates will have:

Enrollment in a recognized law programme (3rd–5th year)

Good drafting and basic legal-research skills

Interest in corporate compliance, contracts, corporate-service legal frameworks

Willingness to work on-site and adapt to a corporate-law environment (not just litigation)

Discipline, reliability, and ability to maintain confidentiality (especially relevant in security/verification firms)

Since Securitas deals heavily with risk-management, security services, background verification and compliance, interns will likely get a chance to observe how legal processes support operational and business-security practices in a large organization.
