Patent Associate / Patent Agent
Location:
South Delhi, India
Educational Qualification:
B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech
Domain Specialization: Electrical, Electronics, and Communication
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting Prior Art Searches using paid and free databases.
Preparing Intellectual Property Opinions including patentability, Freedom to Operate (FTO), and invalidity reports.
Understanding inventions, formulating and executing effective search strategies.
Drafting Provisional and Complete Specifications for patent applications.
Preparing and handling responses to Office Actions in India and ensuring compliance with applicable patent laws.
Providing technical arguments and attending hearings at the Indian Patent Office (for registered patent agents).
Assisting in patent oppositions and offering technical support for enforcement activities through research and case analysis.
Managing patent application filing and prosecution in India and globally, including PCT applications.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in the relevant engineering domain, analytical skills for conducting patent searches and drafting, and a keen interest in Intellectual Property law. Prior experience in IP or patent work will be an added advantage.
