About the Job:
Renata Partners is inviting applications for the positions of Junior Associate (0–2 years) and Associate (2–3 years) for its Mumbai office. This is a physical, in-office role. Candidates for the Junior Associate position must have a strong working knowledge of CPC, Arbitration, and Contract law, with a demonstrated interest in Shipping law preferred. For the Associate position, prior experience in Shipping law is a pre-requisite.

Eligibility:

• For Junior Associate (0–2 years):
  • Strong working knowledge of CPC, Arbitration, and Contract law.
  • Demonstrated interest in Shipping law through internships, research papers, or similar work will be preferred.
  • Law graduate enrolled with the Bar Council.
• For Associate (2–3 years):
  • Prior experience in Shipping law is a pre-requisite.
  • Law graduate enrolled with the Bar Council.
  • Strong drafting and research skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• For Junior Associate:
  • Assisting in shipping law matters and maritime disputes.
  • Conducting legal research on CPC, Arbitration, Contract law, and shipping regulations.
  • Drafting pleadings and legal documents.
  • Supporting senior associates in case preparation.
• For Associate:
  • Handling shipping law matters independently under supervision.
  • Drafting and appearing in maritime disputes.
  • Advising clients on shipping and maritime regulations.
  • Managing case files and client coordination.

Duration:
Full-time, permanent position.
