Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to the firm’s operations.

Open, organize, and manage client files using legal software for all new matters.

Maintain accurate recordkeeping systems, labeling, and file storage.

Oversee file closures and archiving processes.

Manage daily accounting and billing tasks.

Handle client communication, correspondence, and intake procedures.

Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and assist with office coordination.

Conduct legal research and assist in drafting basic legal documents.

Take detailed notes during meetings and proceedings.

Perform general office and administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.

High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.

Prior experience in a legal environment is an asset but not mandatory.
