Position: Legal Associate – Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai (On-site)
Experience: Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience
Role Overview
The Legal Associate will be part of the Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, responsible for contributing meaningfully across litigation, arbitration, and corporate compliance matters. The role is suitable for professionals seeking to deepen their dispute-resolution expertise in a multi-disciplinary law firm.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research and prepare high-quality legal opinions.
Draft pleadings, applications, written submissions, agreements and related documents.
Appear and assist before courts, tribunals, and authorities as needed.
Support senior counsel with case strategy, briefs and hearings across litigation and arbitration.
Engage in commercial contract drafting and other corporate advisory tasks when required.
Provide assistance on intellectual property, real estate and regulatory compliance matters as part of cross-practice collaboration.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
LL.B. degree from a recognised university.
Minimum 2 years’ experience at a law firm handling litigation, ADR, and related work.
Demonstrable drafting and research skills — including pleadings, contracts and advisory documents.
Prior exposure to litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes.
Working knowledge of corporate law and intellectual property matters is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
