About the Job:
Lex Chambers is hiring a Legal Counsel to join its Corporate Commercial & General Corporate Team at its New Delhi office. This role requires an experienced professional with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in corporate commercial matters. The successful candidate will draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts, work on M&A, joint ventures, private equity transactions, and independently manage client relations in a fast-paced environment. Prior law firm experience is essential for this opportunity.
Eligibility:
- 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience in corporate commercial and general corporate matters.
- Prior experience of working in a law firm is an essential requirement.
- Strong experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts.
- Sound knowledge of M&A, joint ventures, private equity, and other corporate transactions.
- Keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain client relations and expectations independently.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide range of commercial contracts and transaction documents.
- Advising clients on M&A, joint ventures, private equity, and other corporate transactions.
- Managing client relations independently and ensuring client expectations are met.
- Providing strategic legal advice on general corporate matters.
- Working collaboratively with the team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Duration:
Full-time, permanent position.
