Job Opportunity as Legal Officer (Non-Litigation) – Dehradun
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will work in the legal department in a non-litigation capacity, supporting documentation, verification, compliance and process workflows related to property/mortgage legalities within a banking/NBFC framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Scrutinise property titles and vet property papers for legal compliance
Review and approve internal legal reports
Conduct branch visits and provide training to the local sales team on legal matters
Prepare internal legal scrutiny reports and manage external vendor interactions
Physically visit relevant authorities for verification of mortgaged property in case of doubts
Track and maintain Legal MIS, initiate legal processes through vendors, and support file disbursement process
