About the Job:
Dhruve Liladhar & Co. is looking to hire a Litigation Associate to join its Litigation and Dispute Resolution department in Mumbai. This role involves appearing across courts and tribunals, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, handling court filings, and assisting Partners in case strategy and client advisory. The position demands strong advocacy, drafting expertise, and the ability to independently handle litigation and arbitration matters.

Eligibility:

• 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation and dispute resolution.
• Strong drafting, legal research, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple matters while handling client interactions effectively.
• Exposure to litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) matters.
• Enrolled with the Bar Council.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Appearing before courts, tribunals, and arbitration forums on behalf of the firm’s clients.
• Drafting pleadings, petitions, applications, written submissions, and legal opinions.
• Conducting in-depth legal research and assisting Partners in case strategy development.
• Handling court filings and ensuring compliance with procedural requirements.
• Managing client interactions and providing strategic advisory on dispute resolution matters.
• Independently handling litigation and arbitration matters under the firm’s guidance.

Duration:
Full-time, permanent position.
