Position: Non-Litigation Associate
Location: Fort, Mumbai (candidates based in Mumbai suburbs are welcome; proximity to Fort preferred)
Experience Required: 1–2 years post-qualification
Role & Responsibilities
The Associate will handle a variety of non-litigation matters including:
Property due diligence: title search, encumbrance checks, documentation & compliance
Corporate due diligence: reviewing corporate and financial records, assessing litigation status and compliance history
Handling commercial, banking, and finance-related transactions and advisory work
Providing regulatory compliance advice and support on relevant laws and regulations
Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as: Agreements, MoUs, NDAs, Leave & License Agreements, Partnership/LLP Agreements, Development Agreements, Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), Power of Attorney (POAs), Sale/Purchase Agreements (SPAs), and legal opinions or notes on law
Candidate Profile & Skills Required
Strong command of English communication — written and spoken
Excellent legal drafting and document review skills
Ability to conduct independent legal research and handle due diligence tasks confidently
Good negotiation and client-interaction skills
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and virtual collaboration tools (Zoom / Google Meet / Webex)
Comfortable managing multiple tasks under deadlines and maintaining version control
Work Schedule & Office Location
Working days: Monday to Friday – 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM
Saturday: Work from home
