About the Role: Associate – Audit

The Associate – Audit will play a crucial role in developing and implementing compliance auditing programs, ensuring that all client organizations meet legal and regulatory requirements. The position involves conducting thorough research, executing audits, identifying non-compliances, and preparing remediation plans.


Key Responsibilities

Develop compliance auditing plans through extensive research and studies.

Lead engagements of Gap Analysis and ensure client adherence to applicable laws and compliances in the compliance management solution.

Implement compliance programs across client organizations and ensure their effectiveness through audits and reviews.

Conduct compliance audits, prepare reports, and present findings to the client’s Risk & Audit Committee.

Identify instances of non-compliance and develop remedial action plans with practical recommendations.

Manage and oversee internal and external audits.

Analyze existing compliance records, update them as necessary, and ensure all activities align with industry regulations.

Stay updated with changes in regulatory frameworks and emerging compliance trends.

Ensure timely resolution of escalated issues and support governance procedures.


Other Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret regulatory developments affecting client operations.

Assist in the identification and resolution of delivery-related issues.

Maintain accountability for issue resolution and governance escalations.


Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B).

Experience Required: 1 to 3 years in the Legal or Compliance industry.

Preferred: Accredited qualification in regulatory and compliance assurance.

Extensive Knowledge: Industry regulations, governing laws, and compliance management systems.


Skills & Competencies Required

Proficiency in compliance and office management software.

Strong analytical, investigative, and organizational abilities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Capability to manage multiple projects efficiently with accuracy and productivity.

Skilled in quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

Ability to gather relevant data from primary and secondary sources.

Strong time management and task coordination to meet deadlines effectively.
